FAQs

You have questions. We have answers.

Joining a platform that hasn’t launched yet? Smart to be skeptical.

After negotiating 300+ YouTube sponsorships the hard way, I’ve thought through every question, objection, and “what if” scenario. This FAQ covers everything from launch timeline to how payments work to why you should trust a platform that’s still being built.

The short version: Goodxus launches December 2025. The first 1,000 creators who join now pay zero platform fees forever. We’re building this in public, and you’re invited to be part of the founding crew.

December 2025. We’re building this right and taking the time to get it perfect. Founding members who join now will be first in line when we open the doors.

Three reasons:

  1. Zero platform fees forever – Only the first 1,000 creators get this. After we hit 1,000, everyone pays standard fees.
  2. First access to advertisers – When we launch in December, you’ll have first pick of the brands ready to bid.
  3. Help shape the platform – Founding members get direct input on features before launch. Your feedback literally builds the product.

We’re heads-down building. You’ll get:

  • Monthly progress updates
  • Sneak peeks of the platform as we build
  • Free resources to help you negotiate better rates right now

Absolutely. This is a waitlist, not a binding contract. If you decide it’s not for you before launch, you don’t have to use our service.

YouTube creators with 20,000+ subscribers in any niche (tech, finance, gaming, lifestyle, education). If you don’t get enough sponsorship deals, or consistently get sponsorship inquiries but hate the negotiation process, this is for you.

Brands on our platform are looking for established creators who already have sponsorship experience. At 20K+ subscribers, you’re typically getting regular sponsor inquiries and understand the pain points we’re solving.

Under 20K? Keep growing and join us when you hit the milestone.

No. Goodxus works for creators worldwide. As long as you have a YouTube channel with 20K+ subscribers, you can join.

All of them. Tech reviews, personal finance, gaming, cooking, automotive, education, lifestyle – if brands sponsor your niche, you’re welcome.

  1. You connect your YouTube channel and set your minimum rate for a standard 60-second integration
  2. Advertisers browse available creators and see your upcoming video slots
  3. They submit bids at or above your minimum rate
  4. You review bids, accept the one you like, and film the integration
  5. You get paid 14 days after the video goes live

Your minimum rate is your floor. If advertisers aren’t bidding, it might mean your rate is set too high for your current metrics. You can adjust it anytime.

We also help you price realistically based on your views, engagement, and niche.

Nope. You’re in complete control. If you don’t like the brand, the offer, or anything about the deal, decline it. No hard feelings.

Yes! Goodxus doesn’t own you. Use the platform when it makes sense. Do direct deals when it makes sense. We’re just here to make the sponsorship process easier.

Before you film anything, the brand’s money goes into escrow. After your video goes live, you get paid in 14 days. Guaranteed.

No more waiting 45-90 days for invoices to get paid. No more brands ghosting you after delivery.

We’re the intermediary. If there’s a legitimate issue (you didn’t deliver what was agreed), we’ll work it out. But if you delivered exactly what the contract specified, you get paid. Period.

We’ve done 300+ sponsorship deals. We know what “good faith” delivery looks like vs brands trying to weasel out of payment.

Founding members (first 1,000): $0 forever. You pay zero platform fees on any sponsorship, ever.

After we hit 1,000 members, standard creators pay a small percentage. Brands cover the rest.

Only when you get paid. If you don’t make money, we don’t make money.

For founding members: never. You pay nothing.

Fair question. Here’s why this isn’t some random startup:

I’m Scott Mansell. I’ve run Driver61 (1.4M subscribers) and OVERDRIVE (500K subscribers) for years. I’ve personally negotiated 300+ sponsorship deals. I’ve lived every pain point you’re experiencing.

This isn’t some outsider trying to “disrupt” an industry they don’t understand. I am part of the industry. I’m building the platform I wish existed when I was getting lowballed on deals and chasing payments.

I’m building Goodxus with experienced developers, but the vision and strategy come from someone who’s been in your exact position.

Yes. We already have brands in conversations who are excited about this model. They’re tired of paying agency fees too.

The competitive bidding model benefits everyone:

  • Creators: Higher rates, faster payments, no negotiation
  • Brands: Direct access to creators, no middleman, pay for what works
  • Us: Small fee for facilitating, protecting both sides

Same brands that already sponsor YouTube: SaaS companies, fintech, consumer products, automotive, gaming, productivity tools, education platforms – the full range.

If they’re currently doing YouTube sponsorships, they’ll be on Goodxus.

Absolutely. If there’s a specific brand you want to work with, let us know. We’ll reach out.

Yes. You’ll connect your YouTube channel directly so we can verify your subscriber count, average views, and give brands accurate information about your channel.

Just what’s necessary: your YouTube channel metrics (public data), email, and payment information (handled securely through our payment processor).

We don’t sell your data. We don’t spam you. We don’t do anything sketchy.

Yes. We use industry-standard payment processors (Stripe). We never see or store your full payment details.
